Pumped Up Version of Old Friend
Author's Rating:
This watch is a scaled-up version (43mm without crown) of the Invicta 8926. It's amazing how much difference 3mm more in case width makes. Everything - the bracelet, the dial, the hour indices, the crown - is proportionately beefier. I've got a tiny 7 1/4 inch wrist (cube-dwelling paper pusher), but I find this size perfect. One difference from the 8926: No exhibition caseback for peering into the reliable Miyota self-winding movement. One similarity that prevents a 5-star rating: The rotating bezel is extremely hard to turn (it needs the coin-edge bezel from the 43mm Invicta Aussie Diver so you could get traction).

A very impressive timepiece. You'll notice the difference in size from the standard models (8926), but it wears well and is not bulky at all. Fast shipping and great price from Amazon made this even better - thanks!
This is a strong and sturdy watch; keeps accurate time and the overall quality really does rival the more well known and more expensive brands. The polished center links are a very nice touch without being flashy. Highly recommended.
